The Reinvigorated QTIS Scheme Explained:
As of August 1, 2015:
A $1 million QTIS All-Aged race to be run on Magic Millions day in January each year. The only horses eligible must be both QTIS and Magic Millions registered.
QTIS - Free Racing for all registered QTIS horses beginning with the crop of 2015 2yos.
QTIS bonuses on 100% of 2YO and 3YO races in Qld.
QTIS bonuses on selected 4YO races right across the state.
QTIS Fillies and Mares Bonus - a 50% increase to all standard QTIS prizemoney for all 3 placegetters. It will start with the crop of 2YO fillies from August 1, 2015 and follow them as 3YOs and 4YOs. On current prizemoney levels for metro racing, fillies will race for: 1st: $78,350. 2nd: $23,500. 3rd: $11,750. Making owning and racing a QTIS filly one of the most attractive prospects in the country!
QTIS Breeders Bonus - Breeders receive an equivalent of 6% of the winners QTIS bonus for all 2YO, 3YO & 4YO QTIS races for the progeny of Qld based stallions. Its for all Qld based stallions whose crops were conceived up to 2014, and for nominated Qld stallions from the 2015 breeding season and thereafter.
