Race 1 summary - Hard race to assess with limited for to go off. ARCOLA was well supported on debut but weakened badly after leading. Resumes here from a long spell, respect. MORINGA'S ODYSSEY makes his debut. He showed enough in a recent trial to be competitive here. FLIM FLAN MAN will be better for the experience on debut. JACARANDA PRINCE the other main chance.
Race 1 tips - 1st: ARCOLA (2), 2nd: MORINGA'S ODYSSEY (1), 3rd: FLIM FLAN MAN (3), 4th: JACARANDA PRINCE (9).

Race 2 summary - JUST IMAGINE gets her chance here after placing in her past three starts, the later this track/dist. PORN STAR PETE was slightly disappointing here last start. He won at Casino prior, can bounce back. DANSU will have come on from his first up run here August 21. HOOKED A BEAUTY wasn't far away at Ipswich last start, that reads well for a race like this.
Race 2 tips - 1st: JUST IMAGINE (6), 2nd: PORN STAR PETE (2), 3rd: DANSU (1), 4th: HOOKED A BEAUTY (5).

Race 3 summary - I TOO CAN DANCE is the one to beat. He has placed three from four starts this time in. All three placings were here, two over this distance. CONQUERING KATE was runner up at Lismore last start. Peaks for this, just needs luck from the draw. FRAMED peaked on her run here last start. She has placed two from three this track/dist and maps well. DARLZEE MISS is open to further improvement.
Race 3 tips - 1st: I TOO CAN DANCE (1), 2nd: CONQUERING KATE (7), 3rd: FAMED (9), 4th: DARLZEE MISS (8).

Race 4 summary - Hard race to assess with most of these out of form. JOUEUR looks ready to win after placing this track/dist in stronger company last start. JOHNNY FEEDBACK is fitter for two runs back from a spell. Jumps up sharply in trip but that suits. RAUCOUS was trapped wide last start, he won at Kempsey prior. Can figure here from the good draw. HEROIC ROCK can improve stepping up to this trip.
Race 4 tips - 1st: JOUEUR (1), 2nd: JOHNNY FEEDBACK (2), 3rd: RAUCOUS (9), 4th: HEROIC ROCK (6).

Race 5 summary - HOPE ISLAND is racing well. He was runner up at Lismore over this distance two back. He has a good record at the distance and drops in weight on his last few starts. CANTILLATE is rarely far away. He is rock hard fit, place claims. STELLA'S CHANCE resumes from a long spell. He will need further but can get into the placing's fresh. ACCORD for the wider exotics.
Race 5 tips - 1st: HOPE ISLAND (3), 2nd: CANTILLATE (4), 3rd: STELLA'S CHANCE (2), 4th: ACCORD (10).

Race 6 summary - LWAZI is the one to beat despite the big weight. He won at Toowoomba before placing at Kilcoy last start and this looks easier. HOT MIST was placed at Lismore when resuming. Strips fitter and a repeat puts her in the mix here. MYAMBLA finished close up here when resuming. Strips fitter and drops in grade. TRACONI's both runs this time in have had merit. She looks well placed in a race like this.
Race 6 tips - 1st: LWAZI (1), 2nd: HOT MIST (9), 3rd: MYAMBLA (5), 4th: TRACONI (4).
