Media Release - Wednesday August 5

The 2020 renewal of the Inglis Ready2Race Sale is certain to be the strongest yet – in terms of quality of both horses and vendors.

The success last season of recent graduates including G1 Doncaster Mile winner Nettoyer and high-class Hong Kong sprinter Wishful Thinker served to further enhance the merit of the progressive Inglis Ready2Race Sale and has prompted a series of entries of unprecedented class and depth.

With well over 200 entries already confirmed, stallions represented amongst a hugely exciting group of first season sires include American Pharoah, Astern, Capitalist, Divine Prophet, Extreme Choice, Flying Artie, Frosted, Holler, Maurice, Odyssey Moon, Palentino, Shalaa, Sooboog, Star Turn, Tivaci, Winning Rupert, Xtravagant etc.

There is also incredible strength to the group of proven sires set to be featured in the catalogue, with the likes of Fastnet Rock, Not A Single Doubt, Pierro, Savabeel, Zoustar, Dundeel, Siyouni, Sebring, Hinchinbrook, Lonhro, Into Mischief, Nicconi, Ocean Park, Reliable Man, Smart Missile etc. as well as emerging young stallions like Deep Field, Headwater, Rubick, Pride Of Dubai, Vancouver, Better Than Ready, Brazen Beau etc.

“The reputation of the people who prepare and present the horses for the sale is critical and we are delighted to have selling with us people who are synonymous with the management and development of quality young racehorses.

“We are on track to offer a catalogue of incredible strength for the sale, particularly in terms of the stallion power” said Inglis GM of Bloodstock Sales & Marketing, Sebastian Hutch.

“People like Blake Ryan, Rick Worthington, Damien Lane, Jean Dubois, John Ramsey, Will Forrester, Matt Vella, Mel O’Gorman, Tal and Shaun Nolen, Frankie Stockdale, Dean Harvey, Hinnerk Hueppe, David Bourne, Nathan Dunn and others are experts in this field and they are the people that buyers want to deal with.

“We also have an incredibly strong group of New Zealand vendors committed for the sale, including the likes of Ohukia Lodge, Regal Farm, Kiltannon, Riverrock Farm, Trelawney Stud and Prima Park.

“Buyers, both domestic and international, are going to be hugely excited when they see the catalogue and we strongly feel that the strength of the catalogue is going to draw unprecedented interest in the sale.
