Golden Rose Runners for Wednesday

Run on September 26, the Group I ATC Golden Rose (1400m) at Rosehill is the first Group I event of the new season for three year-olds and time is running out to earn a slot in the final field with a host of entered horses set to throw their hat into the ring later today.

Among the entries is talented Choisir colt Malkovich, a short priced favourite in race two at the Kensignton track at Randwick.

The Bjorn Baker trained colt has been burning up the tracks at the barrier trials and if he can do on raceday what he’s been doing in practice, Malkovich might prove a Golden Rose dark horse.

The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Pride of Dubai filly Dubai Star resumes against older mares in race seven and had good form in some nice races last season.
