The Joe Pride trained Eduardo was given a good hit out by Rachel King clocking 46.24 seconds for his trial and winning by six and a half lengths.

The seven year-old gelding by Host (Arg) has jumped out of the ground since coming to Sydney and joining the Pride stable winning two of his past three starts and splitting Classique Legend and Bivouac at his most recent run when second in the Group II ATC The Shorts.

A dual Group I winner last season, four year-old Exceed and Excel stallion Bivouac went around in the next heat and clocked 47.62 seconds in winning by half a length well held together.
