Farnan will not run in The Everest on Saturday.

The High Chaparral (IRE) gelding has been in top form this preparation finishing second at his past two starts behind Everest rival Behemoth in the Group I MRC Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes before being beaten narrowly in the Group II VRC Gilgai Stakes down the Flemington straight behind Zoutori.
In that race he beat home two other The Everest rivals in Tofane, who finished fifth, and Santa Ana Lane who was sixth.
