Con Te Partiro Sold and Headed to UK

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday November 11

Two time Australia Group I winner Con Te Partiro was passed in at the November Breeding Stock Sale earlier this week when bidding stalled at $US1.9million, but she has since been sold privately for $US1.6million.

David Redvers of Sheikh Fahad's Qatar Racing secured the sale of Con Te Partiro and the US bred daughter of Scat Daddy will now head to Tweenhills Stud in the UK.

Con Te Partiro was a two time G1 winner in Australia and has sold for $US1.6million.

"She's definitely coming back to Tweenhills Stud in England for Qatar Racing," David Redvers told US Blood Horse.

"At the moment, the (stallion) options will be either Kameko, Zoustar, or possibly Frankel or Dubawi. There is a debate going on with Sheikh Fahad and his team. We're just sort of looking around and seeing what it best. We've made no final decision."

Con Te Partiro came to Australia after the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky Fall Mixed Sale, where she was purchased for SF Bloodstock and Newgate Farm for $575,000.

She bloomed in the care of Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott to win the Group I ATC Coolmore Classic (1500m) and Coolmore Legacy (1600m).
