First season sires have good representation right around the country on Saturday with 11 stallions set to have runners.

Newgate Farm’s young gun Winning Rupert will seek to emulate his barn mates Capitalist, Extreme Choice and Flying Artie, who have already broken the ice with their first winners.

A record breaking sprinter by Written Tycoon, Winning Rupert will have two runners in the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic and one of them is the favourite Ranveer, who was made a Best on Breeding tip this week by Mark Smith, read about him here.
