Aquis Farm Secures Magic Millions Veteran

Aquis Farm has appointed long-serving Magic Millions executive Paul Knight as Business Development Manager who will be responsible for growing relationships across the Queensland and Australian thoroughbred community.

The appointment brings to an end Mr Knight's decorated 30-year career with Magic Millions where he was responsible for helping build their Gold Coast Yearling sale, National Weanling sale and Broodmare sale into the most successful in Australasia.

Mr Knight said he was excited about the challenge of his new appointment and was keen to join the progressive Aquis Farm team.

"I am happy to be joining a team that now includes some of the industry most respected people, including Robyn Wise, Mark Woolridge and Steven O'Dea," he said. "I am confident we can make something very special out of Aquis Farm."

Paul's role at Aquis Farm has a wide brief to develop relationships across the industry. He will be the central point of outside contact for people seeking to utilise the services of Aquis Farm and its people.

Aquis Farm COO Marcus Langer said the appointment of Mr Knight was a great coup for Aquis Farm.

"Paul has the full support and encouragement of Tony Fung in growing the Aquis Farm business," he said.

Acquired in January 2015 and wholly owned by the Fung family, Aquis Farm is a 447-hectare thoroughbred racing, boarding and breeding facility at Canungra on the Gold Coast in Queensland.
