Newgate First Season Sire $500,000 Bonus for Russian Revolution

Media Release - Tuesday December 15

Newgate Farm is excited to announce a substantial cash incentive for buyers at all 2021 Magic Millions and Inglis Yearling Sale Series sales that purchase a horse by our impressive first crop sire Russian Revolution.

“We have offered a similar bonus for our first season sires in the previous two seasons and I must say we are a big chance of having to pay in 2021 given the current crop of 2YOs by Capitalist, Flying Artie, Extreme Choice and Winning Rupert. The major difference with the Russian Revolution bonus is that we have doubled the payout,” said Newgate Managing Director Henry Field.

The Russian Revolution Syndicate and Newgate Farm will pay a $500,000 bonus to the buyer listed in the official Magic Millions and Inglis sales results for any two-year-old by Russian Revolution that can win the 2022 Magic Millions 2YO Classic or 2022 Inglis Millennium Race. This includes Magic Millions and Inglis yearling sales. Online and Ready To Run sales are excluded.

“We believe buyers will have an excellent chance to collect on our bonus in 2022 and we will be cheering them on,” Field added.  “With his impeccable credentials and the fact that so many of the industry’s leading judges are holding his progeny in such high regard, we couldn’t be more confident that Russian Revolution will be the leading sire of his generation.”

Russian Revolution (Snitzel) was unbeaten as a two-year-old from two starts before going on to win the Group I Galaxy defeating Redzel as a three-year-old. He also won the Group II Roman Consul and Group II Vain Stakes that season before winning the Group I Oakleigh Plate as a four-year-old. From a family of Champion sires including Encosta De Lago and Flying Spur, Russian Revolution is one of the most represented sires at Magic Millions with 35 entries.

Russian Revolution also has 22 entries for Inglis Classic.
