Enthaar Given No Favour in Blue Diamond Draw

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday February 16

A hot favourite for the Blue Diamond, boom Written Tycoon filly Enthaar was done no favours at the barrier draw on Tuesday given gate 14 in the field of 16, but her sire may yet get the winner of the race.

Enthaar has drawn barrier 14.

Enthaar is one of two runners in the race for Champion 2YO sire Written Tycoon, who also has classy colt Finance Tycoon engaged and he drew ideally in 6, a stark contrast to his previous run when he drew 16 in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic and finished fifth behind Shaquero.

Finance Tycoon is having his first run since the MM 2YO Classic and has gate 6.

First season sires account for seven of the 16 runners with representation for Frosted (USA), Star Turn, Extrme Choice, Flying Artie, Capitalist, Maurice (Jpn) and Wolf Cry.

The Blue Diamond Stakes field is.
