All American Relocates to Victoria

Media Release - Tuesday May 9
Chatswood Stud is thrilled to announce Group I producer, All American as a new addition to their stallion roster for the 2017 breeding season.

Yankee Rose's sire will be relocating from Geisel Park after being Western Australia's most popular sire for the 2016 season, covering 113 mares.

All AmericanGreg Willis is confident that All American will strike the right chord with breeders, "He really is the perfect out-cross opportunity, being one of very few Group 1 winning and Group 1 producing sires completely free of Danehill / Danzig blood.

"Importantly, he's already had significant success with Danehill line mares, including 10 individual winners from Redoute's Choice mares,7 winners from Danehill mares and also 7 winners from Flying Spur mares.

"Even All American's Group 3 winner, Bachman is out of a Nothin' Leica Dane mare."

Besides Champion Australian 2YO filly Yankee Rose, the handsome son of Red Ransom has had an impressive season on and off the track. He has sired 48 winners (to 8/5/17) in Australia and is averaging more than $60,000 at the sales this year (Australia-wide), with purchases from Ciaron Maher, John Foote, Darby Racing, Darren Weir, Busuttin racing etc.

At a time where the market is inundated with new and unproven stallions, buyers have shown they want proven horses from the sales ring.

A high class 2YO himself, All American was a Stakes winner before Christmas and Group 3 winner of the AJC Skyline Stakes before running second in the Blue Diamond and a bold 5th in the Golden Slipper.

All American showed real durability, training on until a 4YO. Following four Stakes placings including a 3rd in the Group 1 Coolmore Stud Stakes, he was dominant in victory of the Group 1 Emirates Stakes, defeating So You Think.

All American will stand at a fee of $13,200 including GST.
