Early betting has given a clear indication as to which of Lloyd Williams' six runners in the Listed Japan Racing Trophy (2500m) at Flemington on Saturday is the top seed.

Support has come for Bondi Beach and Hans Holbein but the serious money has been invested in Crocodile Rock, which has sensationally firmed from $10 into $4.80 favouritism.

Crocodile Rock has placed twice in benchmark 78 company this preparation and on Saturday will be partnered by airborne jockey Kerrin McEvoy, who won last year's Melbourne Cup aboard Almandin for Williams.

Below are the significant firmers in the early betting on Saturday's Flemington meeting.
