What Does A Good Redoute's Choice Look Like

Breednet - Monday March 29

Next week’s Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale sees the last of the Redoute’s Choice’s to be offered so we thought we’d pull out a gallery of his best performers that were offered as yearlings to see if we might be able to spot a trend which will help with this year’s offerings.

A legendary stallion who has produced 156 stakes winners so far and his progeny remarkably perform above the curve from 1200m right through to 2400m.

He served his final book in 2018, producing 23 foals with eight of them in the Easter catalogue.

There have been 10 sold so far this year, averaging $446,000 (see them here) and with some powerful mares and families among the Easter bunch, deep pockets are certainly going to be required again.
