First Foals of G1 Mares

The Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale was topped last year by the first foal of a Group I winner, so we’d take a look at the first foals of Group I winning mares that will have progeny sell over the next two days.

Lot 15 offered by Arrowfield Stud is a Snitzel colt from Pierro’s Group I VRC Oaks winner Pinot.

Pinot is from Group I Australian Oaks winner Damzelle and her first two dams are by champion sires Zabeel and Danehill.

Lot 71 offered by Cressfield is an I Am Invincible colt from brilliant Group I winning sprinter Secret Agenda, winner of the SAJC Ubet Classic.

Secret Agenda is a full sister to Group II placed Stellar Pauline and to the dam of this season’s Group III winning 2YO Enthaar.
