Top bets from Laurie Sainsbury for Saturday July 29

Breednet - Saturday July 29

Laurie Sainsbury holds the title of "Racenet's most popular ever tipster" and this week he's looking for the Waller stable to have some luck at Rosehill and Caulfield and advises those who backed Sheer Madness and O'Rachael last start to stick.

PRESSCOTT (Caulfield Race 5 No 18)
This ran around in the race won by Windbern here two weeks back. The winner created carnage by shoving out and in a concertina effect flattened half of the field. Stewards reported "held up from the 600m and for the entirety of the straight, went to the line untested". Look, his record is not impressive and his price supports that, however, he was travelling like a horse that could have been in the finish. There looks to be ample pace here as he will be again be at the rear of the field, let's hope he gets a look in late. Eureka Street and Seattle Park can be included as they were in the backwash.

VASSAL (Rosehill Race 6 No 3)
Vassal had his first two starts this campaign in Victoria, both at Caulfield and both were respectable. Charged late first-up over 1800m and then back in distance to 1700m was ridden closer in a BM90 was again solid without much pressure. Gets back to his favourite track and distance, draws the rails and is ready to win. Like Jason Collett as a rider, his style will suit.

WAYANKA (Caulfield Race 7 No 8)
Had his first run this way of going two starts back at Flemington over 1600m, handy effort when 5th to Thaad then came here for a 4th to Nikitas and Revolving Door over 1400m. The 1600m at Flemington may have been a tad far but he was strong here and should have gone close to winning. Held up from 400m to 300m and then in restricted galloping room. Gets a lot better barrier, gets Craig Williams and let's hope he gets some luck.
BET: WIN
ODDS $6 @ Bet 365

KEEN ARRAY (Caulfield Race 8 No 2)
Resumes here after a handy effort in the Winterbottom at Perth and he's a winner first-up. Ran second in the Coolmore to Japonisme, third was Counterattack and he's raced well in Group races previously. However, look at his Caulfield 1200m form (3:3-0-0). This stable collectively have the best sprinters in the land and they would have set him for this and give Regan Bayliss a winner on his comeback day, unless Tashbeeh spoils the party. He was prominent in a recent jump out at Flemington and had plenty to offer.
BET: WIN
ODDS $12 @ Sportsbet
