Fit and ready to fire at his third run back from a spell the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Knights Order was always on the pace and forged clear for Tim Clark to win by nearly two lengths.

Knights Order has won six of 16 starts earning over $235,000 in prizemoney.

The Group II BRC Brisbane Cup (3200m) is run at Eagle Farm next Saturday and Knights Order looks likely to head north.

"The horse will stay all day so there's no problem with him going straight to the 3200 metres," Waterhouse said.

"We will look at the Brisbane Cup next week.

"I will talk with Adrian (Bott) and we will make a decision over the next couple of days.”

Purchased for 250,000 guineas by from the 2018 Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale by McKeever Bloodstock/ Gai Waterhouse Racing, Knights Order is a half-brother to Group II winner Dark Islander from good producer Lamanka Lass, who has left nine winners from 11 foals to race.
