Front runner Written Tycoon went to stud as a Group II winner at a fee of $8,250, Not a Single Doubt was a Listed winner priced at $13,750 and I Am Invincible was a Group III winner starting off at $11,000.
That trio now feature in the top Price Point story, upwards of $110,000!

There are just five horses in this price point and four are unproven with the exception being Swettenham Stud’s Puissance de Lune (IRE).
Given the demand for sons of Shamardal with his champion sons Blue Point (IRE), Pinatubo (IRE) and Earthlight (IRE) all shuttling here this year for Darley , Puissance de Lune makes a lot of sense for a breeder looking for that bloodline, but operating on a budget.
A Group II winner that was multiple Group I placed, Puissance de Lune started off at a fee of $11,000 for his first two seasons and then dropped to $8,800 for his next three before rising to $19,800 last year off the back of some very encouraging racetrack results.
His first crop that are now four year-olds has produced five stakes horses headed by Group II winner Moonlight Maid, stakes-winner Chantrea and Group I Victoria Derby runner-up Southern Moon.
Puissance de Lune has covered 309 mares in his past two seasons which is more than he covered in the previous four years so that’s a good indication his stocks will rise in the future.
First Season
Only two contenders here and both Dirty Work and Hanseatic are Victorian based Group winning sons of sires that are in hot demand .
Dirty Work’s sire Written Tycoon returns to Victoria this spring and will stand at a fee of $165,000, while Hanseatic’s sire Street Boss (USA) moves from Darley Victoria to Darley NSW on the back of his outstanding 2YO colt Anamoe and has had a fee increase to $55,000.

Second Season
Two contenders here in Coolmore’s top class shuttler Magna Grecia (IRE) and Widden Stud’s heir apparent to Zoustar in Zousain.
Magna Grecia has had a big pedigree update as he is a half-brother to an outstanding 3YO in the Northern Hemisphere in St Mark’s Basilica.
The Coolmore owned son of Siyouni won the Group I Dewhurst Stakes at the end of last year at two and this year has won both the Group I Longchamp Poule d'Essai des Poulains (French 2,000 guineas) and the Prix du Jockey Club (French Derby).
Expect to see him shuttle to Australia in the future!
