Breednet 2022 Golden Slipper Sale Mail

Tara Madgwick - Tuesday July 13

The 2022 Group I ATC Golden Slipper (1200m) to be run in March next year has received over 2300 nominations representing a large slice of the commercial crop of rising two year-olds so we’ve made the list fully sortable by sire, dam, nominator and price.

The list of Slipper entries can be sorted by sire, both in alpha order and by the number of nominations with the Top 15 listed below.

Yarraman Park’s I Am Invincible heads the list with 124 nominations that will give him a great opportunity to overturn an anomaly in his sire resume. A phenomenal source of two year-old winners, I Am Invincible has strangely never sired a Group I winning juvenile, but that may well change in 2022.

Newgate Farm’s Russian Revolution has the most entries for a first season sire with 66, followed by Hellbent and Merchant Navy on 49.

Extreme Choice, who sired this year’s winner Stay Inside, but suffers from fertility issues has 20 entries.

The list of Slipper entries can be sorted by nominator, both in alpha order and by the number of nominations with the Top 15 listed below.

Ciaron Maher and David Eustace have yet to win a Golden Slipper, but will have a great opportunity with 132 entries, while Godolphin will have their usual strong showing with 105.

In her second year of training, Annabel Neasham certainly has the fire power to make an impact with 79 entries!

The list of Slipper entries can be sorted by price from most expensive to least expensive with the Top 15 listed below.

There were a record number of seven figure yearlings sold in Australia this year and 35 of them are entered for the Golden Slipper including the sale-toppers from both Inglis Easter and Magic Millions.

The list of Slipper entries can be sorted by vendor in alpha order, so if you want to check quickly whether yearlings you have sold have been entered this search is for you.
