Second G1 Winner for Olympic Glory

Choisir’s four time Group I winning son Olympic Glory produced his second Group I winner overnight at Deauville when Grand Glory denied quality Wootton Bassett mare Audarya another elite victory when winning the Prix Jean Romanet (2000m).

Trained by Gianluca Bietolini, Grand Glory did best in a thrilling finish to win by a short head taking her overall record to six wins from 16 starts.

Grand Glory is the best of four winners from Madonna Lily and comes from a female family well known in Australia having produced Group I VRC Oaks winner Arapaho Miss and her VRC Oaks winning daughter Miami Bound.



Olympic Glory shuttled to Arrowfield Stud for three seasons with his best Australian offspring the stakes-winner Lord Olympus.
