The proven Group I winners in the field are Trekking, Portland Sky and September Run, while The Inferno was the champion sprinter in Singapore where he was beaten only once.

Talented mares Swats that, Brooklyn Hustle, Ballistic Lover and Miss Albania round out the field for a race that promises to provide a great spectacle.

Since the race was elevated to Group I status in 2013 it’s been won by a trio of three year-olds in Samaready, Extreme Choice and She Will Reign, who were all previously Group I winners at two.

Other winners have been the mighty Buffering twice, Nature Strip once as well as super fast mares Viddora and Pippie.
