Coolmore Ireland Announce 2022 Fees

Coolmore Ireland have announced their fees for 2022 with the roster headed by Wootton Bassett (GB) at a fee of €150,000 (A$234,341), the proven Group I sire currently in Australia covering his first book of mares here at a fee of $71,500.

Wootton Bassett (Iffraaj) started his stud career in France before being acquired by Coolmore and stood his first season for them this year in Ireland at a fee of €100,000 up significantly on his final year in France at €40,000.

This year he has powered ahead with 12 stakes-winners headed by Group I winners Incarville and Zellie and five of those stakes-winners are new two year-old stakes-winners headed by Zellie and Group II winning colts Royal Patronage and Atomic Jones.

No Nay Never (Scat Daddy), who nearly sired the Group I VRC Oaks winner on Thursday when Douceur missed narrowly behind Willowy, is next on the roster at a fee of €125,000, his fee unchanged.

Top class staying sire Camelot (Montjeu) has also had a fee increase up to €75,000 from €60,000 in 2021.
