Earlier this year Breednet ran a very popular story about the merits of November born foals highlighting their racetrack success and discounted yearling price in terms of how they present in the sale ring, so as we move into the last part of the breeding season we thought it was worth revisiting.

Foals born in November have again made their mark on this year’s spring carnivals in Sydney and Melbourne.

Some of the star performers for November foals are superstar three year-old colt Anamoe, who missed narrowly in the Cox Plate after winning the Group I MRC Caulfield Guineas and Australia’s best sprinter Nature Strip, winner of the $15million The Everest and Group I VRC Darley Sprint Classic.

Interestingly, this dynamic duo share the same birthday, November 16 albeit four years apart!
