Juvenile Trial Watch – First Season

Tara Madgwick - Thursday November 11

Juvenile trials this week produced some encouraging efforts from several runners by Hellbent, The Mission and Menari, whose highest priced yearling appears to have not only his good looks, but also his ability.

Randwick November 11

Enzina was the top priced yearling from the first crop of Newgate Farm’s fertility troubled sire Menari fetching $260,000 at Magic Millions for Newgate when secured by James Bester Bloodstock / Vantage Thoroughbreds.

Enzina was the highest priced yearling from the first crop of Menari.

A strapping bay filly clearly stamped by her sire, she was very professional in racing clear for a two and a half length win.

Enzina is bred to go fast being from imported Munnings mare Ben’s Duchess (USA), a fast Group III winning sprinter.
