Merson Cooper Stakes Sale Mail

Tara Madgwick - Friday November 26

The Listed MRC Merson Cooper Stakes (1000m) proved to be a step on the path to greatness for champion colt Anamoe, so a closer look at this year’s race is well warranted with $1million Zoustar colt Brereton engaged along with an unraced filly that is pushing him for favouritism.

Brereton was a $1million Magic Millions purchase from the Widden Stud draft.

With a second and a win at his only starts, Brereton is the testing material, but the Peter and Paul Snowden trained Ebhaar is expected to give him a run for his money.
