Darling View farewells I’m All The Talk

Media Release - Friday January 21

Darling View Thoroughbreds has announced the death of Champion WA sire I’m All The Talk.

The Group 3 winning son of Stratum was 11.  He was Champion WA 2YO Sire and First-season sire in 2019-20 and Champion WA second-season sire and WA Champion 3yo Sire in 2020-21.

RIP I'm All the Talk , terrific young stallion gone to soon.

“He was a super young stallion who was only in the infancy of his stud career,” Darling View’s Brent Atwell said.  “He had received wonderful support from breeders serving over 200 mares in two seasons since arriving here from Mungrup Stud

“I’m all The Talk had covered only a moderate number of mares prior to standing here but had achieved great success with Watch Me Dance (Group 2 winner), All Banter (Stakes winner in Melbourne), The Spruiker, Em Tee Aye, Billy Ain’t Silly and we felt there was so much more to come with a great future ahead of him.

“We would like to thank Gray and Jan Williamson for giving us the opportunity to purchase I’m All The Talk in 2020 and it’s been a blessing to stand him at Darling View, even if it was only for a short time.

“Our industry is full of the highest of highs and the lowest of lows and the loss of I’m All The Talk is a huge loss for the WA breeding and racing industry.

“I’m All The Talk was one of a kind with the most magnificent physique and a quirky, yet sensitive nature.  Our staff loved and adored him and he will be very sadly missed.

“My family and I would like to thank everyone for supporting I’m All The Talk in the past two seasons and, although he was laid to rest at Darling View on Thursday, we are sure his foals and unborn progeny will do him proud in seasons ahead.”
