The Group I Queen Anne Stakes (1m) was won by the red hot favourite Baaeed, who took his unbeaten run to eight wins from as many starts.

Trained by William Haggas, the Shadwell homebred son of Sea the Stars has now won Group I races at his past four starts and can add to that tally as the year progresses.

Baaeed is a full brother to Hukum, who won the recent 2022  Group I Epsom Coronation Cup before being sidelined with a serious injury.

The Group II Coventry Stakes (6f) gave first season sire Tasleet his first stakes-winner when Bradsell scored a dominant win with Hollie Doyle in the saddle.

Trained by Archie Watson, he won his first start at York by nine lengths and kept up the good work on the big stage at Royal Ascot.

Another successfully purchase for Blandford Bloodstock, he was bought for 47,000 pounds from the Goffs UK Breeze Up Sale this year and is the best of two winners from juvenile stakes-winner Russian Punch.

His sire Tasleet is a Group II winning son of Showcasing that stands at Shadwell at a fee of 5,000 pounds.

The Group I St James’s Palace Stakes (1m) was won by the favourite Coroebus, a Godolphin homebred Dubawi colt that was having his first run since winning the Group I Newmarket 2000 Guineas.

The Charlie Appleby trained colt scored by a head in a thrilling finish and may now head to the Group I Sussex Stakes against the older horses where he would be likely to face Baaeed.

At age 20, Dubawi has had success as a sire of sires and Darley will stand two of his best young sons in Australia this spring in Too Darn Hot (GB) and Ghaiyyath (IRE) and as a two time Group I winner Coroebus may well follow in their footsteps .

Coroebus is the first winner for Group III winning Teofilo mare First Victory, a sibling to two time Group I Dubai World Cup winner Thunder Snow, Group winners Ihtimal and Eastern World, plus stakes-winners Always Smile and Winter Lightning.

The Listed Wolferton Stakes (1m 2f) was also won by Godolphin with 6YO Dubawi gelding Dubai Future scored by three lengths over race favourite Cadillac, who sold for 500,000 pounds at the Goffs London Sale this week.

Already a multiple stakes-winner, Dubai Future is the best of four winners from Group III winning Street Cry mare Anjaz, a daughter of Group I winner Playful Act, a three-quarter sister to Group I winning sire Nathaniel.
