Strong domestic and international entries in August (Early) Online Sale

Stakes winners from Australia, New Zealand and the United States, mares in foal to some of Australasia’s most commercially appealing stallions and a breeding right in Champion Sire I Am Invincible are just some of a plethora of highlights in the Inglis Digital August (Early) Online Sale.

The catalogue of 317 entries is now open for bidding at inglisdigital.com and features a wide array of quality racing and breeding stock for buyers, including 50% in the G1 placed mare Nudge, who defeated the likes of Sweet Deal, Madam Rouge, Savatiano, Flit, Lyre, Mizzy, Sierra Sue etc when 2nd in Tofane’s G1 Tatts Tiara over 1400m.

Stakes-winning mare Charleise is for sale.

Another of the highlight mares is Charleise (pictured), a Stakes-winning daughter of Foxwedge with high-class 2YO form, which includes a 3rd placing to Champion 2YO Microphone in the Listed Talindert Stakes on debut.

An intriguing entry is Lakerball (Lakerville), a two-time Stakes winner in America.

Lakerball (USA) is for sale.

She is being offered as a breeding prospect and with her outstanding international bloodlines, would suit a wide array of Australia’s leading stallions.

G3 winner Duchess Kate (Savabeel) and Zebreez (Sebring), in foal to Farnan and Zoustar respectively, are other fascinating entries.

Duchess Kate is the dam of 2022’s highest-priced yearling by The Autumn Sun at $950,000, while Zebreez is carrying a three-quarter relation to the G1 placed mare who realised $2.4m earlier this year, Madam Rouge.

And the breeding right in Champion Sire I Am Invincible is sure to attract the attention of both domestic and international investors.

I Am Invincible – whose 2022 service fee at Yarraman Park is $247,500 - has produced 79 career Stakes winners and is a proven G1 sire of sires who had 48 yearlings realise $500,000 or more this year.

The 317 entries in the Inglis Digital August (Early) catalogue consist of 101 broodmares, 89 race fillies, 76 racehorses, 23 racehorse shares, 16 yearlings and 12 unnamed stock.

Other highlight entries include:

Avila – Unraced 4YO mare by Written Tycoon out of the champion Makybe Diva, offered as a racing prospect and with huge residual value

Current King – 3YO Snitzel half brother to G1 Golden Slipper winner She Will Reign, had one start and finished 2nd to G2 winner Paris Dior

Elfin – Unraced half sister to G3 winners Dawn Passage and Dinkum Diamond (the dam of the G1 placed stallion prospect Graff)

Keats – Listed winner in Ireland, by world-renowned stallion Galileo, offered by Mike Moroney

Queen Of Eight – Well-related proven producer of two Stakes horses from just four to race, offered IF to the popular and successful Capitalist

Reward for Glory – IF to Toronado carrying a full sibling to black type filly Celtic Glory

Single View – Dam of G3 winner Kiwia, offered IF to Capitalist

Surecan – Consistent Not A Single Doubt filly out of G1 winner Ofcourseican, making her a half sister to Group-winning Melbourne Cup contender Persan

Sylpheed – Stakes-winning mare, offered IF to exciting young stallion Farnan

Vinay – Regally bred (Fastnet Rock x Champagne) mare whose foals have sold up to $190,000, offered IF to Wootton Bassett.

There are yearlings by sires such as Hellbent, Gold Standard, Impending, D’Argento, Calyx, Astern, Vino Rosso etc as well as mares in foal to stallions including Nicconi, All Too Hard, Xtravagant, Dirty Work, Graff etc.
