Mark Smith - Sunday November 13

Judging from her dominant win over 1200m at Canberra on Sunday, we have not heard the last of the Invader debutant Sunshine In Paris.

Ridden by Alysha Collett for Annabel Neasham, Sunshine in Paris circled the field, displaying a brilliant turn of foot to leave her rivals in her wake.

The Matthew Smith-trained Winston Hills, also by Invader, was a safe two lengths back in second, with his stablemate Bokeem (Rubick) a distant six and a quarter lengths back in third.

Sunshine in Paris sold as an unraced 2yo at the 2022 Gold Coast National Broodmare Sale. Consigned by Blue Sky Premium, the Aquis-bred filly was a $90,000 purchase for Champagne Bloodstock.Sunshine In Paris a $90,000 National Broodmare Sale purchase.
