All the way from the Southern Highlands of NSW, Ricky Surace and his team at B2B Thoroughbreds are set to make a big impression at the Inglis Premier Yearling Sale with a select draft of 10 that features one of only four colts in the sale by champion sire Exceed and Excel.

The Darley heavy hitter is once again riding high on the two year-old sires list this season with three Group winning colts in Barber, Cylinder and Zulfiqar sure to guarantee premium interest in his offspring at this sale.

Lot 105 is the third foal of slick sprinting mare Scarlet Billows, a Group III winning daughter of influential sire Street Boss (USA) and her only foal to race is Group II placed multiple winner Gleneagles.

“This fella is a standout amongst our draft!” said Ricky Surace and it’s not hard to see why.

“He has been blessed with a lot of size, a nice depth of girth and big strong hindquarters. He has a lovely loping walk, a fantastic temperament and is by champion sire noted for producing 2 year old stakes winners year after year.

“This colt has all the right attributes for success.”

The star colt is also bred on a well proven and very successful nick with champion sires Exceed and Excel and Street Cry combining in the pedigrees of 10 stakes-winners headed by Group I winning sprinters September Run, Elite Street and Group II Silver Slipper winner Cylinder.

Toronado (IRE) fillies are plentiful at Premier, however Lot 124 is right at the top of the tree.

Lot 124

She is the third foal of She’s on Que, who showed immense talent in a brief career of just three starts which included a debut third at Rosehill and a fourth in the Group II ATC Reisling Stakes.

A sibling to Group winners Man From Uncle and Head of State, She's on Que has a prolific Black Type pedigree featuring  outstanding mare Shania Dane and Champion NZ 2YO Colt Summer Passage.

“She is our best filly we are taking up to Premier this year and potentially the best filly we have ever taken to this sale,” Ricky Surace revealed.

“She is so strong, robust and has outstanding bone. She has a queen nature and her walk is so smooth. Her dam was incredibly talented and hails from a great current pedigree, so we are confident whoever lands this quality filly will not be disappointed on the track.”
