Milan Park reduction among 69 Lots online

Media Release - Wednesday March 29

The latest gavelhouse.com fortnightly auction is online now and includes a draft of 15 unreserved broodmares on account of Milan Park as part of a strategic reduction sale.

Established by Tony Rider in 2007, Milan Park started as a hobby and has grown into a successful business with Group One winners Adventador, Irish Fling and The Perfect Pink bred at the Cambridge nursery.

“We are having a reduction sale to get our numbers back to the level we think works best for us,” Farm Manager Grant Bennet said.”

“We have had numerous young black type mares retire over the past two years and that has seen our broodmare band swell considerably.”

  • Irish Whistle – a 5YO Reliable Mare closely related to Group One winners Mo’unga and Chenille, she is offered with her Super Seth filly at foot and is back in foal to the Gr.1 Caulfield Guineas winner.
