Inglis Easter Stars Can Add to Stellar Segenhoe Strike Rate

Segenhoe Stud has produced some seriously good horses in recent years and their strike rate of stakes performers to yearlings sold is why investors keep coming back for more from this boutique Hunter Valley farm.

Star performers this season sold by Segenhoe include superstar dual Group I winning filly In Secret, Group I ATC Epsom Handicap winner Ellsberg, as well as Group and stakes-winners Jal Lei, I Am Me, Holyfield and Meg.

Top class West Australian fillies Amelia’s Jewel (Group I) and She’s Fit, winner of the recent Group III WA Oaks, were also raised at Segenhoe adding to their impressive resume of Black Type performers.

Segenhoe put their strike rate of 17% for stakes performers to yearlings sold as one of the very best… all the more reason to check out their draft of 20 for Inglis Easter.

Segenhoe will look to start the sale off on a good note presenting Lot 1, a Dundeel colt from Zara Bay, a stakes-placed full sister to dual Group I winner and Royal Ascot hero Merchant Navy, Group II winner Jolie Bay and stakes-winner Setanta.

Lot 1

Zara Bay has had two foals to race and both are winners with Airman (3g I Am Invincible) winning three of four starts for Team Hawkes and showing promise of Black Type to come, read about him here..
