TBV Appoints New Executive Officer

Media Release - Monday April 17

Thoroughbred Breeders Victoria (TBV) are delighted to announce that Carrie Hu has been appointed as the Executive Officer for TBV.

Carrie Hu has joined TBV as the Executive Officer

Hu, who was previously in the position as CEO of RIFA Mustang Pty Ltd, who are thoroughbred breeders and owners, brings a wealth of experience to the role.

At RIFA Mustang, she was responsible for managing a bloodstock portfolio of over 80 horses, but she also brings experience from China, Dubai, Europe, Japan and the US.

Hu holds both a Bachelor of Economics from the Central University of Finance and Economics in China and a Master of Science in Finance from the Johns Hopkins University.

To complement her wealth of knowledge in 2017, Hu completed the Godolphin Flying Start program.

Well respected by her peers and industry leaders, Hu is excited about the new position and hopes to add value to TBV and to the wider Victorian breeding industry.

“The Victorian breeding industry is an exciting place, and I am very fortunate to be part of that. I hope that I will be able to lead and represent TBV’s members through the next chapter in its history,” Hu said.
