Sires by Bloodline – Not a Single Doubt

Tara Madgwick - Sunday June 18

Born in the very first crop of foals sired by Redoute’s Choice, Not a Single Doubt managed a couple of modest Listed wins before retiring to stand alongside his famous father at Arrowfield Stud and what an amazing success story he became with a fledgling sire dynasty set to ensure his influence for generations to come.

Much loved at Arrowfield Stud, Not a Single Doubt passed away last June.

For much of his stud career, Not a Single Doubt was the bread and butter sire on the Arrowfield roster spending his first six seasons at a fee of $13,750 and the following five at $24,750 and then $33,000. It was only the last four seasons when his fee climbed as high as $110,000 that he really got the respect he deserved.

Those latter years at stud saw him cover better mares and the unbridled success at stud of his dual G1 winning son Extreme Choice has led to a real surge of interest in his colts as sire prospects.

Extreme Choice has well documented fertility issues, but runs at 12.5% SW to runner.

The big bangers in the group are his Golden Slipper winning son Farnan, who has been given great opportunity at Kia Ora Stud with his first yearlings to sell next year and his Golden Slipper winning grand-son Stay Inside, who was super popular in his first season at Newgate last spring.

Farnan, click for more info.

Stay Inside will have his first foals this spring.

This branch of the Redoute’s Choice sireline has great potential for the future, so it’s not hard to see why so many farms are keen to take a piece of the action.
