Torryburn Stud Thrilled with First Home Affairs Foal

Tara Madgwick - Wednesday August 16

Torryburn Stud bred and sold superstar sprinting colt Home Affairs and are delighted with his first foal born on their farm.

Home Affairs filly from Vitesse.

They released this gorgeous picture of young Snitzel mare Vitesse and her first born foal, a filly by Home Affairs - "She's just a complete glamour and if she's anything to go by, the future looks bright for our main man."

A $500,000 Magic Millions purchase as a yearling, Vitesse was a stablemate of Home Affairs at the Chris Waller stable and while she missed out on Black Type, she was a very solid metro performer winning six races and over $460,000 in prizemoney.

Vitesse comes from a stout European female family featuring Group I winning stayers Sarafina and Simca Millie, so there is some real diversity in the pedigree.

Home Affairs covered 203 mares last spring and is priced at $99,000 this year at Coolmore.
