Timely Win for Tender Streak - Dam and Half-Brother at Strawberry Hill Dispersal

Mark Smith - Thursday August 24

With her half-brother and dam set to go under the hammer next week at the Strawberry Hill Stud Unreserved Dispersal Sale, the Zoustar filly Tender Streak broke her maiden with the greatest of ease over 1200m at Gosford on Thursday.

Ridden by Mitchell Bell for Nathan Doyle, Tender Streak was in a race of her own over the final 100m, putting a three-and-a-half length gap over the Hellbent gelding Hellinda, with the Written By gelding Pennart three-quarters of a length back in third.

The timely win came after finishing runner-up at her first three stats at Newcastle (x2) and Kembla Grange.
