Australian Bloodstock Splash Out on Another Prolific Day for Australians at Tattersalls

Australian Bloodstock signed for eight lots and made all the early running at the third session of the Tattersalls Autumn Horses in Training Sale while Domeland’s trainer Sara Ryan snared a couple of choice lots, and some new players entered the fray.

Lot 813 Monty Be Quick (IRE) 2020 Ch.G. by New Bay (GB) ex Poyle Meg (GB) Purchaser Australian Bloodstock / Ronald Rauscher / Nathan Doyle Racing 18,000 gns

Runner-up twice, but still to break his maiden after five starts this season, Monty Be Quick is a half-brother to four winners, including GrIII winner Whisper Not and the stakes-placed Whoputfiftyinyou.

His dam is a half-sister to the dam of One Thousand Guineas heroine Cachet.

A winner on the all-weather at Kempton and Wolverhampton from eight starts, this 3-year-old filly comes from the family of the champion Sky Lantern winner of the 1000 Guineas, Coronation Stakes, Sun Chariot Stakes, and Moyglare Stud Stakes, and is the dam of Snow Lantern (Frankel), who downed Mother Earth and Alcohol Free in the Gr1 Falmouth Stakes.

Dam is a half-sister to GrIII Prix Gladiateur winner Ley Hunter, who was third in the Gr1 Prix du Cadran and fourth in the Prix de Reux won by Americain.

Another filly from the Godolphin draft, Tajalat placed in three of her four starts, including a fast-finishing second at Chester at her most recent start in June.

A half-sister to three winners, she is out of an unraced half-sister to dual Gr1 winner Sajjhaa.

Fulfilled’s dam is a half-sister to Gr III winner Zibelina and Listed winner Floristry from the family of The Queen’s Carlton House.

The winner of three consecutive races for Mark Johnston at two, including the Gr II Royal Lodge Stakes at Newmarket and Acomb Stakes at York, Royal Patronage seemed to lose his way after finishing second to the nest start Derby winner Royal Crown in Dante Stakes.

The 4yo son of Wootton Bassett campaigned in America towards the end of last year and won an Allowance race at Keeneland for Graham Motion in April.

This is the Aga Khan’s family of Epsom and Irish Derby winner Shahrastani.

His dam Rheem is an Australian-bred daughter of Galileo and was a stakes-winner and group II placed in Dubai.

She hails from the family of Epsom Derby winner Rodrigo De Triano.
