Mark Smith - Friday December 15

Frankel (GB) has put up some mind-boggling numbers this season on his way to his second Champion Sire title for Great Britain/Ireland, and third consecutive title for Europe combined.

The son of Galileo has carried his success to the sales ring with the top-priced colt and filly at Tattersalls October and the Goffs Orby Sale-topper.

This is music to the ears of the vendors on six Frankel yearlings catalogued for the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Lot 450 B C Frankel x Aubade by Invincible Spirit Consignor: Canon Hayes Stud

First foal of an unraced three-quarter-sister to dual Gr.III winner Tickled Pink, the dam of Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf winner Victoria Road.

From the family of Auguste Rodin (Deep Impact), Aubade is a half-sister to three stakes-winners out of a half-sister to the magnificent matron Cassandra Go.

Lot 488 Ch F Frankel x Boujie Girl by Flashback Consignor: Newgate Farm

Second foal of the dam who was placed in the Gr.1 Debutante Stakes at Del Mar, and the Gr.II Sorrento Stakes.

A US$175,000 purchase for SF Bloodstock at the 2019 Fasig-Tipton November Sale, Boujie Girl is a half-sister to Gr.1 Arkansas Derby winner Super Stock.

Lot 513 B F Frankel x Cercle D'Or by Acclamation Consignor: Yarraman Park Stud

A clone of her sire, this filly is a half-sister to two winners including Ozara (Lope De Vega), the recent winner of a stakes at Gulfstream Park and fourth in the Gr.1 Natalma Stakes at Woodbine in September.

Lot 627 B C Frankel x Elvic by Siyouni Consignor: Yulong

A $700,000 purchase for the Tagaloa Syndicate from the Arrowfield draft at the 2022 National Broodmare Sale when carrying this Frankel colt, Elvic is a half-sister to dual Listed winner Tall Ship (See The Stars), who was second to Whos Shot The Barman in the Gr.II Zipping Classic.

Elvic’s half-sister Love Magic (Dansili) is the dam of Gr.1 French Oaks heroine Channel (Nathaniel).

Her dam, the Gr.1 Cheveley Park Stakes winner Magical Romance is a three-quarter sister to Alexandrova, winner of the Epsom Oaks, irish Oaks and Yorkshire Oaks.

Lot 988 B C Frankel x Mrs Danvers by Hellvelyn Consignor: Coolmore Stud

Purchased by Darby Bloodstock for $350,000 when carrying a Home Affairs colt, Mrs Danvers won five races from seven starts at two for  Jonathan Portman, including the Gr.III Cornwallis Stakes at Newmarket and the Listed  St Hugh’s Stakes at Newbury.
