South Australian Breeders achieve positive results on Day 1 of the Adelaide MM

SA breeders acheived some great results on the first day of the Adelaide Magic Millions Yearling Sale.

Lot 34 - Too Darn Hot x Just Discreet (Exceed and Excel) - $180,000 from Mill Park Stud on behalf of renowned Adelaide breeder David Peacock.

The scopey athletic Too Darn Hot colt is from Group III winner Just Discreet and was snapped up by leading South Australian trainer Michael Hickmott for John O’Neil and the Punt Road Racing Syndicate.

Lot 35 - Toronado x Kabini (Written Tycoon) - $225,000 from historic Balcrest Stud celebrating their 90th year of operation, the athletic Toronado colt with a great temperament, was knocked down to Shane McGrath and will head to Clinton McDonalds stable in Victoria.

The colt is the first foal of a dual Group III placed Written Tycoon Kabini.

 

Lot 61 - The Autumn Sun x Le Societe (Anabaa) - $200,000 bred by Cornerstone Stud, this highly popular and smooth walking The Autumn Sun colt was purchased by Paul Moroney & Catherine Bruggeman on behalf of Ballymore Stables.

The colt is a 1/2 brother to Geelong Classic winner Grand Pierro and speedy stakes placed 2yo Sebring filly Indiscretion.
