Race 1 summary - THE POTATO PONTIFF much improved run when second at Gosford when he led and was run down late. Should be right at his peak third-up and gets the chance to go one better. TAIKOMOCHI well backed when placed at Kembla resuming. Still scope for improvement but the step up to the mile looks a genuine query. MR MILE 28-start maiden but eight placings and a place hope again. GACELA runner-up at Scone last start but this is harder and place prospects best again.

Race 2 summary - ISLAND MISSILE finished his race off nicely when runner-up at Kembla on debut. Gets a set of blinkers with the race experience and set to go one better. BOOMTOWN RAT placed in both his trials at Rosehill coming from back in the field. Looking for a market lead on race day. STONE close-up all three runs to date including a Warwick Farm third two runs back. Nothing to suggest he won't be in the finish again. BALEARIC had a chequered path in the straight at Hawkesbury on debut. Can only benefit from the experience and worth including in the wider exotics.
Race 2 tips - 1st: ISLAND MISSILE (3), 2nd: BOOMTOWN RAT (2), 3rd: STONE (4), 4th: BALEARIC (1).

Race 3 summary - DAZZLES placed five from eight including runner-up finishes all three runs this time in. The slightly shorter journey gives her the chance to go one better. WANDER Finished his latest trial off nicely when runner-up at Rosehill. Must be respected on debut with the Godolphin polish. SQUAW PEAK in the market but always wide at Sandown resuming. 37-days between runs but kept up to the mark with a Warwick Farm trial placing. Right in this launching from the inside gate. MASTERATI resumes and placed in both recent trials at Warwick Farm. Well beaten both runs to date but the trials suggest he is in
Race 3 tips - 1st: WANDER (4), 2nd: SQUAW PEAK (7), 3rd: MASTERATI (1), 4th: KWADAZONE (6).

Race 4 summary - I LOVE BUDDY placed both runs to date including a Newcastle third last start. Still scope for improvement and looks suited stepping up in distance. PASS OF GOLD less than two-lengths from the winner at Kembla resuming after covering ground in the run. Fitter second-up and one of the chances with a nice run from the gate. CHAYANNE resumes on the back of a Randwick trial placing. Beaumont placed in two runs in his first preparation and at least a place chance fresh here. NYAH six placings from 10-starts including a runner-up finish at Scone last start. Goes in all the exotics again.
Race 4 tips - 1st: I LOVE BUDDY (1), 2nd: PASS OF GOLD (9), 3rd: CHAYANNE (4), 4th: NYAH (8).

Race 5 summary - SEVENTHCHIC Warwick Farm winner three runs back and placed at the same track last start. Rates a winning chance back to provincial grade. LIFFY Kembla maiden winner resuming before placing at Warwick Farm last time out. Rates a winning chance back to provincial grade. GONE WITH THE WIND runner-up at Hawkesbury two runs back before leading and weakening at Warwick Farm last start. Rates a place chance back to the provincials. MANHATTAN ROAD next best.
Race 5 tips - 1st: SEVENTHCHIC (2), 2nd: LIFFY (3), 3rd: GONE WITH THE WIND (1), 4th: MANHATTAN ROAD (5).

Race 6 summary - NEVER OUT Gosford winner in his first preparation and placed three from four this time in. On home track and right in the mix again. TAMARACK resumes and has had the benefit of two trials. Beaumont winner and Wyong placed in four runs in his first preparation and goes in everything fresh here. DYNAMIC BID Led all the way to record his first career win at Goulburn last start. No surprise to see him go on with the job after a confidence boosting win. DARK ELIXIR just the one win from 16 starts but seven placings and has place prospects again.
Race 6 tips - 1st: NEVER OUT (2), 2nd: TAMARACK (1), 3rd: DYNAMIC BID (4), 4th: DARK ELIXIR (5).

Race 7 summary - CRAFTY TYCOON Goulburn winner two runs back and should have finished much closer at Wyong last start. Set to bounce back here from an ideal gate. NADACHEVA chasing back to back wins after a Newcastle victory last start. Not the type that can be backed with confidence for successive wins but still goes in the exotics. KLISSTRA consistent without winning in recent starts. Races on the speed and can place. BANDIT BAY well beaten at Beaumont resuming but a distinct spike in his second-up ratings and no surprise to see a sharp improvement.
Race 7 tips - 1st: CRAFTY TYCOON (8), 2nd: NADACHEVA (1), 3rd: KLISSTRA (7), 4th: BANDIT BAY (10).

Race 8 summary - PRINCE DYLAN placed at Muswellbrook and Gosford in his two runs this time in. Peaks third-up and gets the chance to go one better on his home track. MISS FAITH won successive races at Taree and Beaumont last preparation. Finished on the placegetters heels at Gosford last start and ready to do something third-up. RIBANDS won successive races at Canberra and Wagga before placings last three. At least a place chance stepping up to provincial level. MICHELLE'S GIFT resumes and has had the benefit of a trial. Twice a winner fresh and goes in the wider exotics.
Race 8 tips - 1st: PRINCE DYLAN (4), 2nd: MISS FAITH (6), 3rd: RIBANDS (5), 4th: MICHELLE'S GIFT (3).
