Debut Winner for Sizzling

Scoring a brilliant debut win on Friday for the Nick Olive stable was promising filly Sizzling Belle, the second winner for Newgate Farm's Group I winning Snitzel son Sizzling.

SizzlingA hot favourite for the 1000 metre juvenile maiden at Wagga, Sizzling Belle flew across from the outside gate in the field of six to lead easily and cruised home to win with ears pricked by nearly three lengths.

A $50,000 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale purchase for her trainer from the Element Hill draft, Sizzling Belle is the third winner from stakes-placed Magic Albert mare Greenmount Belle.

Sizzling had a great result at the Magic Millions Yearling Sale on Thursday with a lovely filly from Wintour fetching $210,000 for Torryburn Stud when secured by Star Thoroughbreds/ Chris Waller Racing.

Just six runners went to the post the QTIS Two-Year-Old over 1200 metres at Doomben on Saturday with three by Spirit Of Boom and two by Spill The Beans but the David Vandyke-trained Sizzling filly Red Stiletto saw them all off and earn a trip to the Gold Coast for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on January 11.
First Stakes-Winner for Sizzling
A half-brother to $2million earner and Group II winner Invincibella, three year-old gelding Secret Blaze became the first stakes-winner for Snitzel’s Group I winning son Sizzling when taking out the Listed MRC Galilee Final at Caulfield on Saturday.
