Tough mare Prairie Flower became the 10th stakes winner for Vinery Stud’s Star Turn when winning the Listed Durbridge Stakes at Morphettville on Saturday with the half-sister set to sell at Inglis Premier.

Ridden by Kayla Crowther, the Will Clarken & Niki O'Shea trained daughter of Star Turn defeated Extremely Lucky (Extreme Choice) by 1.1 lengths with Tiffany Valentine (Sepoy) third.

The win takes her record to eight wins, seven seconds, and six thirds from 37 starts with earnings of $444,715.

Prairie Flower was originally a $120,000 purchase for Henry Dwyer Racing from the Maluka Thoroughbreds draft at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale.
