Blue Gum Farm sold 24 yearlings for $4.4million at last year’s Inglis Premier Yearling Sale including the sale-topping $925,000 Snitzel filly from Jestajingle and Sean Dingwall and his team are proud to present another top class draft of 31 this year at Oaklands Junction.

Under the new ownership of Jason and Melanie Stenning (Trilogy Racing) and Sean and Cathy Dingwall, Blue Gum Farm has maintained the high standards set in the past and are building a record of success going forward with unbeaten two year-old colt Return to Conquer the jewel in the crown.

Return to Conquer was sold by Blue Gum Farm for $1.3million and is a star 2YO in New Zealand.

Sold at Magic Millions last year for $1.3million to David Ellis, the Te Akau owned son of Sniztel has had three starts in stakes races in New Zealand and won them all with Group I target races now on the radar.

The 2025 Premier draft features the progeny of 25 different stallions including champion sire Zoustar with his filly from Surecan set to turn heads for both her pedigree and her type.

Zoustar filly from Surecan.

Offered as Lot 508, she is the first foal of Surecan, a winning half-sister by Not a Single Doubt to Group III winning $1.7million earner Persan from Group I ATC Coolmore Classic winner Ofcourseican, a half-sister to Group I winning Champion South African sire Gimmethegreenlight.

Surecan was snapped up by Trilogy Racing through an Inglis Digital Online Sale in August 2022 for $300,000 straight off the track with Zoustar her first partner delivering an outstanding result.

“She’s a princess by Zoustar, arguably the best stallion in the world right now,” said Sean Dingwall.

“This lovely first foal is the right size, shape and color for a Zoustar. Has awesome movement and will be a must see for serious buyers.”

She is bred on a successful nick between Zoustar and Not a Single Doubt that has produced Group II winner Schwarz and stakes-winner Solar Star and on a broader perspective Zoustar has produced 11 stakes-winners that have a double cross of Redoute’s Choice like this filly and they include boom colt Growing Empire.

Home Affairs colt from Neighbourhood.

Another first foal that has really impressed the Blue Gum Farm team is Lot 349, a Home Affairs colt from Group III placed Street Boss (USA) mare Neighbourhood.

“Everyone wants a Home Affairs so here is a proper colt from a good quality stakes mare in Neighbourhood,” Dingwall said.

“He is an awesome first foal. Has size and strength and will go early.”

Street Boss (USA) is having a hot run with Another Wil taking out the Group I MRC CF Orr Stakes and then last Saturday his two year-old colt Tentyris missed narrowly when second in the Group I MRC Blue Diamond Stakes.

Street Boss (USA) filly from Charleston Dancer.

Lot 102, a filly by Street Boss (USA) from Lonhro mare Charleston Dancer is one of the stars of this draft being a full sister to multiple Group placed stakes-winner She Dances from a daughter of Group II winner Innovation Girl.

It’s a two dam pedigree packed with speed stakes-winners including Bold Bastille, Chloe in Paris and Larimer Street.

“A Queen in the making, this filly is so well related!” Dingwall said.

“She has quality and an outstanding walk. While not big, she has loads of improvement to come and will develop into an outstanding mare.”
