Leading UK First Season Sire Betting

Tara Madgwick - Monday March 26
RaceBets have released a market for this year's leading UK first-season sire title by winners with Invincible Spirit's champion son Kingman the favourite ahead of Coolmore shuttler No Nay Never (USA), who will have his first Australian yearlings selling next year.

KingmanKingman is an obvious favourite on form as he was a high-class juvenile himself, unbeaten in two starts including in the Group III Solario Stakes before going on to multiple Group I wins at three,.

He produced a healthy-sized debut crop of 113 foals conceived at a fee of £55,000 at Banstead Manor for Juddmonte Farms.

Scat Daddy's brilliant son No Nay Never was one of the talking horses of the 2017 yearling sales.

A sharp two-year-old himself, he won the Group II Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot and the Group I Prix Morny at Deauville for US trainer Wesley Ward and has a first crop of 86 foals.

Other sires in the market that have shuttled to Australia or New Zealand include Olympic Glory (IRE), Charm Spirit (IRE) and Toronado (IRE), who have all had yearlings selling this year and will have their first Southern Hemisphere runners in the spring.
