Wodeton missed narrowly in the Slipper and will be looking to atone for Coolmore with champion Irish jockey Ryan Moore in the saddle, while Rivellino was slowly into gear last start before charging home for fourth in the Slipper and has always looked as though 1400m would be his sweet spot and Hugh Bowman has returned from Hong Kong for the ride.

Add in Victorian raiders Vinrock, an unbeaten colt prepared by Treasurethe Moment’s trainer Matt Laurie and Prestige Forever, who bolted in to win the Listed Moonee Valley Pearl last start, and you have a super fascinating race that will have the breeding world very focused on the outcome.
