Mosheen was a real glamour girl of her time, albeit she lobbed in the same crop as Atlantic Jewel and for a very long time that pair of stellar fillies set the benchmark for Fastnet Rock until the arrival of Via Sistina (IRE).

Mosheen has been at stud in Japan since her retirement and has made her mark as the dam of four winners highlighted by Group III winner Primo Scene and Listed stakes-winner Danon Ayers Rock.

Her colt by Kitasan Black, best known as the sire of Equinox, sold for 420million yen which equates to A$4.3million and was offered by Northern Farm and purchased by Nebraska Racing.

Two more yearlings from Group I winning Australian mares were offered in this session with a Saturnalia colt from Yankee Rose selling for 310million yen (A$3.2million). The half-brother to Champion 2YO and 3YO Filly Liberty Island was offered by Northern Farm and bought by Danox Co Lts.

Also meeting favour with the market was the Lord Kanaloa colt from Group I MRC Thousand Guineas winner Amphitrite selling for 190million yen (A$1.9million). He was also offered by northern Farm and bought by DMM.com LLC.
