Spring Stars First Trials Coming Up Tuesday

The Randwick barrier trials on Tuesday morning will give us the first look at some big guns tuning up for the spring racing with seven Group One winners entered, and some rising three year-old big race hopefuls.

Heat One is headlined by Via Sistina with Group One winners Fangirl, Full Count Felicia, Tom Kitten and Zardozi also set to line up.

VRC Oaks winner Zardozi will be running under James Cummings’s name however she will have switched to her new trainer Ciaron Maher before she hits the races.

Heat two has brilliant Australian Derby winner Aeliana going around with Group One winning Manaal also engaged with the boom horses Autumn Glow and Wodeton also there for Chris Waller.

Godolphin have Silver Slipper winner Beiwacht also entered who will be moving to Chris Waller before he resumes.

Towards the end of the morning a couple of impressive youngsters will have their first trials also in Lonhro Plate winner Bellazaine and Fernhill runner-up Lady Pankhurst.
