Gooree Park Stallion Parade

Media Release - Sunday August 31

Gooree Park Stud will open the gates on Friday September 5 for a stallion parade featuring new arrival Yes Yes Yes along with resident Gooree Stud bred sires Prized Icon and Your Song – RSVP is due this Tuesday.

Since its foundation in 1979 by Filipino businessman, Eduardo Cojuangco, Gooree Park Stud has produced an incredible string of high class performers.

Situated at Galambine on the fringe of the world famous Hunter Valley in NSW, Gooree’s iconic red and black silks have been carried to success by 6-time Group 1 winner, Desert War, another multiple Group 1 winner in Hallowed Crown (also a Group 1 producing sire) and, influentially, the late and very great, Northern Meteor … and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Prized Icon

Indeed, the Champagne Stakes and Victoria Derby winner, Prized Icon, along with Group 1 BTC Cup winner, Your Song, were both bred and raced by Gooree and currently stand at the property.

Your Song

Astute breeders will be able to view both Prized Icon and Your Song – along with Gooree newcomer and Everest winner Yes Yes Yes – in a special stallion parade on Friday 5 September from 10.30am.

Andrew Baddock will be your Host / Emcee and he will discuss the three stallions.

Yes Yes Yes

While Your Song (with stakes winners Brave Song, Gem Song and this year’s Group winner Melody Again among his luminaries) and Prized Icon (multiple Group 1 winner Tropical Squall) already boast a host of topline winners on their respective resumes, Yes Yes Yes is considered one of the genuine up and comers of Australian breeding with ATC Derby runnerup, Firm Agreement, Yes Queen, Flamboyant Lad, Want A Winner et al, a mere introduction to his potential.

Gooree will have light refreshments after the parade which will be available from the cellar door at the stables.

If you wish to attend the 2025 Gooree Park Stallion Parade email horses@gooreepark.com.au or phone 02 6378 1800.
