All 2YO heats this morning run at Randwick over 850m with these trials the key factor in deciding fields for the Group III ATC Breeders Plate and Gimcrack Stakes in two weeks time.

Heat 9 Colts - Revengeance (Hellbent) - 50.38 seconds

A lot of expectation in this heat with the appearance of $1million Stay Inside colt Incognito and he did run well albeit finishing a close third behind the Waterhouse Bott trained Hellbent colt Revengeance, who was tenacious to the line and was their sixth winner of the day.

Revengeance was a $100,000 Inglis Classic purchase.

A $100,000 Inglis Classic purchase from Davali Thoroughbreds for Darby Racing, Revengeance is the first foal of Havasu (NZ), an unraced half-sister to Group III winner Miss Federer from stakes-winner Halobelle.

Heat 8 Fillies Shiki (Too Darn Hot (GB) – 49.46 seconds FASTEST HEAT

Gai and Adrian again in this heat with Too Darn Hot (GB) filly Shiki ridden along to take the win over her stablemate The Wildling by first season sire Wild Ruler.

Shiki was a $420,000 MM purchase.

A $420,000 Magic Millions purchase from Riverstone Lodge for Kurrinda Bloodstock/Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott Racing, Shiki was a pinhook winner sourced from the Inglis Weanling Sale for $150,000.

She is the fourth foal of Jest Excel, a winning half-sister by Exceed and Excel to Group II VRC Maribyrnong Plate winner Jiang.

Heat 7 Colts - Iambubb (I Am Invincible) – 50.57 seconds

Trained by Mitchell and Desiree Kearney as was the earlier heat winner Oh Yes She Did, Iambubb settled behind the pace and finished off well with some encouragement from Tyler Shiller to take the win.

Iambubb was a $270,000 Inglis Classic purchase.

A $270,000 Inglis Classic purchase from Yarraman Park for Kearney Racing / D Springfield, Iambubb is the third foal from winning Denman mare Black Champagne, a sister to stakes-placed Piacenza from stakes-placed Pachanga.
