New Stakes-Winner for Star Aussie Mare Sea Siren

Tara Madgwick - Monday September 29

Aussie bred Fastnet Rock mare Sea Siren has certainly made her mark both on the racetrack where she was a triple Group I winner and at stud with her produce record is headed by triple Group I winner Warm Heart and over the weekend she produced another stakes-winner and he won the richest race in Poland.

Four year-old Galileo stallion Bremen started his racing life with Aidan O’Brien in the Ballydoyle stables winning two of six starts before being sold to new connections in Poland.

He was crowned champion 3YO Colt of Poland last year and on Sunday came out and won their richest race the Listed Warsaw Wielka Warszawska (2600m) with Keiran Shoemark in the saddle.

Sea Siren started her stud career in Ireland for Coolmore, but is now back in Australia.

She has had seven named foals, six of which have raced and four have won with Warm Heart the best of them and Bremen is now her second stakes-winner, while another Galileo daughter Celestial Object was Group III placed.

Sea Siren returned to Australia in foal to Camelot in 2022 and the result of that mating is the Chris Waller trained three year-old colt Crusader Voyage, who has had four starts for three metro placings and is overdue for a win.

Sea Siren has a Home Affairs 2YO colt that was bought by David Ellis for $650,000 at Magic Millions this year and she has a yearling filly by Justify (USA), but no foal this spring after missing last year.
